Why is Essendon only open three days?
It opened in 2024 and is still running limited hours while it settles in — Monday and Wednesday to 7pm, Thursday to 8.30pm. If you need a time outside those, ring Essendon on (03) 9880 5994 and ask. We can often do it, and if we cannot, Kingsville and Sunshine run a fuller week.
Are you actually in Moonee Ponds?
No, and we would rather say so than let you drive to the wrong suburb. The nearest Satori is at 127 Buckley St, Essendon — the next suburb over. Up Mt Alexander Rd from the Junction, then across to Buckley St. The salon is at 127, and the House is the room at the back.
Do I have to be an existing client to book online?
Online booking is for people who have been in before. If this is your first visit, ring Essendon on (03) 9880 5994 or send the enquiry form. We ask a couple of questions about your hair first so we book you enough time, and colour clients get a free consultation before anything is mixed.
Is it cheaper or dearer than a salon in the village?
